Wet pattern continues before summer heat returns on the Gulf Coast

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – An unsettled weather pattern will stick around for the next couple of days, bringing numerous showers and thunderstorms to the Gulf Coast. While the rain will help keep temperatures a bit lower than we’ve seen recently, it will also bring the potential for heavy downpours, localized flooding, dangerous lightning, and a few storms capable of gusty winds. Conditions begin drying out during the second half of the week as hotter summer weather makes a comeback.
