MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – A suspect has been arrested in connection with a shooting that killed a Montgomery man Sunday afternoon, according to the Montgomery Police Department.
Cedric Nixon, 19, was charged with murder.
MPD responded to the 4200 block of Amherst Drive on Sunday at 4:06 p.m. about a report of someone being shot. There, officers found Michael Hill, Jr., 20, of Montgomery, who sustained injuries from a gunshot wound. Hill was pronounced dead at the scene.
