MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – Cable and internet provider Spectrum says a widespread outage of its services Thursday morning in the River Region was caused by a criminal attack on its infrastructure and is offering a reward for help finding the person or people responsible.
“Today, one of Spectrum’s fiber optic lines in the vicinity of 4200 Sherman Way, Montgomery, Alabama, was intentionally cut in a criminal attack on our infrastructure,” the company said in a statement.
