Governor Kay Ivey is lauding the Metro Area Crime Suppression (MACS) Unit successful efforts to fight against crime in Montgomery.
The MACS Unit is a law enforcement initiative launched by state leaders including Ivey and Attorney General Steve Marshall on June 24, 2024. Its mission is to reduce crime and enhance public safety across Montgomery and the surrounding areas.
“Our Metro Area Crime Suppression Unit is a necessary public safety tool in our Capital City,” Ivey said. “823 arrests. And we’re not slowing down. Thugs of Montgomery, y’all are on notice. Our agents will look for you. They will find you. And they will arrest you.”…
