MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – New information has been revealed in the case of two women shot in Gibbs Village in Montgomery in a preliminary hearing for Tarus Giles.
Tarus Giles, 20, was arrested and booked into the Montgomery County Detention Facility August 31 after being charged with killing two women, identified as Undrea Willis, 25, and Nalyn Reeves, 19.
Montgomery Police say they responded to shots fired on Gibbs Drive at around eight in the morning. When they arrived, police found the two women had been shot to death in one of the apartments. They say the apartment window was broken when they arrived. There were two children in the apartment, a three-year-old and a ten-month-old, one belonging to each woman. It is believed that Giles is the father of Reeves’ child. Police found shell casings inside and outside the apartment, all of the same caliber.
