HOPE HULL, Ala. (WSFA) – A woman is in jail in Lowndes County after police say she stole from her employer.
The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office says 25-year-old Jacqueline Jones is charged with third-degree theft for stealing approximately $1,000 from the Love’s Truck Stop in Hope Hull.
Court documents show Jones admitted to taking the money when she was confronted. She told investigators she was “having hard time and she took money from her job to pay her bill,” according to court documents.
