Tigers’ game rescheduled due to severe weather concerns

Greenville High School announced that the away football game against Holtville High School, originally scheduled for Friday night, has been rescheduled for Thursday, Oct. 8.

Principal Bryant Marlow said the decision was made out of an abundance of caution due to the threat of severe weather associated with Hurricane Isaias and the potential impact it could have on travel throughout the area.

“As principal of Greenville High School, the safety and well-being of our students, athletes, coaches, staff, and fans will always be my highest priority,” Marlow said in a media release. “I do not want our players, coaches, students, or community members traveling home late Friday night while severe weather conditions may be developing or impacting our area.”…
