ALEA advises on road safety during deer season

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – Alabama is in the middle of deer season. It’s good news for those that enjoy hunting, but it can also be bad news for drivers. If you end up colliding with a deer, you are advised to call 911 so law enforcement can provide you a crash report to provide to your insurance company. You should also check to make sure that your vehicle is drivable, otherwise you could increase damage to your car and the cost of repairs.
