Free For Residents and Families That Need Mental Wellness Support

Starting March 18, 2024, North Montgomery residents, and families can attend right within their community, a mental wellness support group that was announced in 2023, by community innovator, Patricia June. There is no fee, and to join, all they have to do is sign up. All sessions are private and confidential. Residents will have the choice to join a small private group, or join one of the online private sessions.

Patricia June: “We have residents and families that are suffering from depression, and frustration for so many reasons, and that can include, being victimized from someone stealing from their cars or property, fear of hearing gunfire in their communities, emotional and physical abuse, unwanted solicitation aimed to manipulate, and influence bad behavior aimed at our children, that need mental wellness support as well!”

Patricia June: “Victims fearing someone will victimize them again, and the thought of someone taking something you worked hard for can be frustrating, and have many walking around angry about situations and issues, not understanding or knowing that they need help. Many residents and families fear letting their children go outside to play, or fear of sitting on their own front porch.”
