Event For Parent(s) Who Have Lost Their Children To Gun Violence & The Cases Remain Unsolved

Parents of Montgomery, Alabama are meeting to do more than just talk about the loss of their children. The event is for parent(s) that are still waiting on justice for their children. They want parents to know that they are not alone, and support is there for them. The event will be about bonding, support, resources, empowering and uplifting each other, listening, educating, and connecting to talk about each other cases, evidence, etc.

Organizer, Patricia June lost her daughter, Erica June to gun violence October 25, 2022, at the age of 35, and understands the untold stories and memories of her daughter, the pain of her loss, and frustration waiting on justice. She has continued with hopes to help others by creating programs, and community initiatives to help deter gun violence amongst the youth in the communities. In hopes to help prevent another parent from going through what she is going through.

The parent(s) will share stories, and memories of their loved ones, and how they became victims of gun violence, and connecting with others that have experienced the agony of loss, and the struggles they have went through. They will discuss how to understand the process, and procedures of murder cases, and cold cases, and how to follow up about their cases.
