(Alabama)– According to WAKA, missing 16-year-old Michael Cole Jr.’s body has been located after family members last heard from him on Jan. 25 2024. His body was discovered just before 11 PM on Jan. 29 2024, and authorities have arrested two in connection to the case.
Chief Darryl Albert did advise Action 8 News that everyone involved knew one another before things took a turn amongst the group. Their goal now is to find out what exactly happened and to bring justice to Cole’s case.

Court documents received by WAKA allege that on Jan. 25 2024, authorities received a call and responded to a possible shooting that occurred in “an occupied dwelling” in the Ridgecrest area. When investigators arrived, they observed a home that received damage from a bullet.
