Today marks four years since Jonvonte Goode was murdered. Jonvonte Goode was murdered January 30, 2020, at the age of 22. His mother says she will not give up on justice for her son. The murder took place in the 1900 block of Hilldale Drive, in Gibbs Village. Since the murder a ‘vehicle of interest’ picture, and video was released a couple years ago.
“Multiple shots, and no one saw anyone running, or fleeing? In the video you can clearly see people standing and talking outside, and cars traveling in the community, surely someone heard multiple gun shots, or saw the car that is of interest?”
His mother, Asheia Goode released this statement today: “I have not got justice for my sons murder, and I keep coming on social media crying out for help for my child. Why did y’all do this? How can you live with murdering someone? Son I wished I was there to hold you, and help you fight through the bullets. I know that you cried out to me, and I was not there to help you. I tried to reach you. The department have not reached out to me, or tried to talk to me about my sons case. Can I get justice?”
