‘Inform To Reform’ Programs Are Rolling Out For Residents In Highland Gardens Community

After rolling out the community initiatives to help residents in Highland Gardens receive free fire alarms, and installation of fire extinguishers, the Highland Gardens United Neighborhood Association, President Patricia June, and Vice President, Gilda Milner, “knows the importance of encouraging residents to obtain renters insurance, and life insurance. We want our residents to be better equipped, and prepared in case of unfortunate circumstances.”

Patricia June, “The thought and stigma for many residents is that they feel they cannot afford to obtain, and maintain renters insurance, and/or life insurance, and that is not true at all. Many feel that because of their health, they have no options to ensure burial cost, and that is not true at all. This is why so many go unprotected, and uninsured. This is why the ‘Inform To Reform’ programs and resources are focused on working with residents to make them aware of many things they thought was unobtainable, and unreachable, and making sure they receive them.”
