MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – The Montgomery Police Department has launched a homicide investigation after a man was fatally shot in Montgomery early Friday morning. According to MPD, Friday morning at approximately 1:54 a.m., police and Fire Medics responded to the 100 block of N. Burbank Drive regarding a person being shot. On the scene, officials located Rod’Tavious Hall, 23, of Montgomery, who had sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound. Hall was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
