A former employee from a Tallassee business is facing charges of first-degree theft from the company. On September 7th, the Tallassee Police Department captured Charles Weston Isbell, a 60-year-old resident of Tallassee. He has been charged with first-degree theft. Detective Michael Anderson from the Tallassee Police Department revealed that the amount stolen from River Region Roofing falls just short of $33,500.
