An interstate on-ramp in Montgomery was blocked just before rush hour Monday after a commercial vehicle “loaded with cattle” overturned, law enforcement officials said.
The single-vehicle crash happened about 4 p.m. and involved a commercial tractor-trailer, Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Lt. Jeremy Burkett said. The crash “completely shut down” the ramp on Interstate 65 northbound at exit 167, he said.
The scene was cleared and the road was reopened by 8:13 p.m., Burkett said.
