BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Alabama State Rep. Juandalynn Givan has called for the resignation of Birmingham Police Chief Scott Thurmond. The request came on Monday, Oct. 7. Rep. Givan said in a statement that she believe Thurmond should step down after failing to address what she called the “never ending bloodbath” taking place on the streets in and around her legislative district.
