Missing Ohio woman’s car found in Alabama

CLEBURNE COUNTY, Ala. ( WIAT ) — The Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office has found the car that a missing Ohio woman was driving .

According to the Marysville Police Division in Ohio on Monday, the silver Honda Accord that Vendula “Wendy” Rose was driving was found parked in a lot at Cheaha State Park. Authorities based in the area are searching for Rose, who is a Marysville resident.

Marysville police state Rose has not been seen since Sept. 24. She went on a camping trip to Alabama and was expected to return home last Wednesday.

Marysville police are working with Alabama law enforcement to help in the search and investigation. Those with information Rose’s whereabouts can contact the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office at 256-463-2277.
