First Alert Weather: Tracking a significant fall cooldown for next week

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – First Alert AccuTrack shows a quiet and clear sky across Central Alabama as we head into your Saturday evening with high pressure in control of the weather pattern. Expect pleasantly cool and comfortable conditions after sunset. By Sunday morning, temperatures will fall into the low to mid 50s. Despite the cool start, winds will shift to out of the southwest at 5-10 mph tomorrow, helping afternoon highs to climb into the mid 80s – decently above average for mid-October. If you’re doing anything outdoors, make sure you’re wearing sunscreen. Even the fall sunshine in Alabama can be unrelenting!
