Eugene’s Hot Chicken in Uptown says Magic City Classic weekend brings in about 20% more business than a regular weekend.

“We have catering buckets that we have, but they really skyrocket. Normally for the week we just have those for families, but during like Magic City Classic, stuff like Comi Con, stuff like that, big events and UAB games, they tend to go up a little more,” Starks said.
The Magic City Classic brings new and old faces into many local businesses every year.
“They come in specifically just during the classic to come and see us so it’s great,” Jakaiya Bryant with K&J’s Elegant Pastries said.
