Governor Kay Ivey directed all flags be flown at half-staff to honor the service of former State Senator Jimmy Holley, of Elba. Holley passed away Monday. The order instructs flags within the State Capitol complex in Montgomery and throughout Alabama State Senate District 31, effective beginning 5:00 p.m. Thursday, November 7 through sundown Friday, November 8.
