The Montgomery County Commission heard from several speakers concerned about how the area is helping the homeless. At their Dec. 17 regular meeting, the commission heard from Lady Berry, a former board member of The Hub, a service organization for the homeless. She said that her research has found “gaps” in services for the homeless in Montgomery, especially for those with special needs, previous felonies or evictions.
