Two Alabama men arrested in connection to Atoka car burglaries

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two Alabama men were arrested in connection to multiple Atoka, Tennessee auto burglaries, the Atoka Police Department confirmed.

Paul G. Hinkle, 36, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals in connection with two auto burglaries that occurred in Atoka’s Oak Creek neighborhood on the morning of November 25, where firearms were stolen.

Using video surveillance provided by victims and neighbors, Atoka Police officers identified the suspect’s vehicle, as a blue/gray 2012 BMW X6 with black rims and Alabama tags.

According to police, this tied the suspect to additional criminal activities across the Mid-South.

Further investigation by Atoka Police Department detectives revealed Hinkle was a convicted felon.
