In-N-Out set to open new restaurant near Alabama

(NEXSTAR) – In-N-Out Burger is planning to bring its mustard-grilled burgers and spiritual fountain sodas to plenty of new locations in the coming years, with a handful of those restaurants confirmed across three states in 2025.

The burger chain, which does not franchise its restaurants, currently keeps its operations (mostly) to the Western half of the country, with locations mainly in California, Arizona and Nevada. But there are also outposts in Colorado, Idaho, Oregon and Utah, as well as dozens of locations in Texas — which is the furthest east that In-N-Out has expanded.

The reason for In-N-Out’s relatively slow growth (when compared to other fast-food chains) is rooted in its founders’ “early philosophy,” according to the company.

“Because of a rigorous commitment to quality and freshness, the company only builds stores that are located within a close proximity of their four in-house patty-making facilities. This ensures it will never take more than a single-day’s drive for their own trucks to deliver fresh ingredients to each restaurant,” In-N-Out’s official website explains.
