We’re off to a chilly start this morning with temps in the 20s and 30s across the area. We’ll see lots of sunshine today, but highs will only manage to get into the mid 50s. Tomorrow, clouds will be on the increase throughout the day with an isolated shower possible, but the best chance arrives in the overnight early Monday as a line of showers arrives around 2am. Good news is, there will be nothing severe associated with this line. Once the showers move through, the cold front follows and then our temps will slowly drop throughout the day. Monday’s high will actually occur just before the front comes through, and it will be quite windy with gusts to 30 MPH out of the North behind the front.
Tuesday through Friday will feature very cold mornings will temps well into the 20s and highs mostly in the 40s, possible reaching 50 on Friday. Then our next system arrives, with showers possible Friday afternoon, but the better chances coming in Friday night into Saturday morning. As of now, we should see all rain. The best chances for snow look to be north Georgia, north Alabama, and up into Tennessee. But, we’re still a week away, so stay tuned.
