Alabama OT transfer Elijah Pritchett commits to Nebraska

Former Alabama offensive tackle Elijah Pritchett has committed to Nebraska out of the NCAA transfer portal. On3’s Hayes Fawcett reported the news .

Pritchett committed to Matt Rhule and the Cornhuskers after visiting Nebraska. He entered the portal on Jan. 4 following the end of the Crimson Tide’s season.

During the 2024 season, Pritchett played in all 12 games, including 10 of which he started at right tackle. During the season, Pritchett was named to the Outland Trophy Watch List and even was named an Outland Player of the Week after the Crimson Tide beat Wisconsin .

Alabama finished this past season 9-4 overall — the first time the Crimson Tide had finished with less than 10 wins in a season since 2007, which was Nick Saban’s first season as head coach. Pritchett most recently played in the ReliaQuest Bowl against Michigan .

In 2023, Pritchett appeared in 13 games as a reserve offensive tackle and on special teams. The 6-foot-6, 312-pound offensive lineman proved himself a valuable asset off the bench as he helped lead Alabama to a 12-2 record and appearance in the College Football Playoff.
