Friday morning was sunny, but clouds increased during the afternoon. High temperatures were fairly mild, in the low to mid 60s. Rain arrives in west Alabama Friday evening, and spreads across the rest of our area overnight. Rain may become more heavy after midnight, with thunder possible. Storms remain sub-severe, as temperatures remain cool overnight, limiting instability for storms to work with.
Rain may depart rather early Saturday, with sunshine possible during the afternoon. The more sunshine we get, the warmer temperatures become. Most of our area likely warms into at least the mid 60s, but some locations could reach the low 70s. You may want to enjoy that, as temperatures turn sharply colder Sunday.
