Former Social Security employee Tiffany Flick filed a legal briefing on March 7, 2025, revealing her concerns about DOGE intervening in SSA records that contain sensitive information about Alabama residents and everyone with a social security number.

In her legal briefing, Flick detailed how Mike Russo joined the agency on January 31, 2025, as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and immediately requested software engineer Akash Bobba have access to SSA’s sensitive data.
