HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Alabama ranked second in a recent national study on road conditions.
According to the ConsumerAffairs Research Team, 96.5% of urban roads and 98.7% of rural roads in the state are classified as being in acceptable condition. This achievement follows the passage of Governor Kay Ivey’s Rebuild Alabama Act five years ago, which aims to enhance the state’s infrastructure.
