ELMORE COUNTY, Ala. (WSFA) – An Elmore County sheriff’s deputy and an unidentified woman shot each other Tuesday morning, according to Elmore County District Attorney CJ Robinson.
Details on this breaking news situation are limited, but Robinson could confirm the deputy was serving a warrant in the Dozier Road area when the woman reportedly shot him. The deputy then returned fire, striking the woman.
