Alabama House passes Paid Parental Leave Bill

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAFF) – Alabama moved closer to a new state law that will provide teachers and state employees with eight weeks of paid parental leave.

The Alabama House gave final passage to SB199 or the Paid Parental Leave Bill backed by a variety of lawmakers including Ginny Shaver of DeKalb County.
