First Alert Weather: Rain moving in tonight; more storms for Sunday & Monday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – First Alert AccuTrack shows rain moving into west Alabama this evening with areas east staying dry with some breaks of sunshine. Periods of rain with some rumbles of thunder will be possible tonight as a disturbance travels across the state. Temperatures will stay mild with winds breezy out of the southeast at 10 MPH. For Sunday, more rain and storms could develop at times during the morning and afternoon hours that could bringing heavy downpours, lightning, gusty winds, and small hail. We could see some breaks of sunshine in the afternoon with conditions staying warm and muggy as southerly winds stay breezy off the Gulf. Morning lows will start off in the 60s with highs in the upper 70s.
