Alabama Red Cross shares resources, ready to respond if severe weather hits Monday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Alabama has had several overnight severe weather threats over the past few months, and local emergency response experts do not want folks to let their guard down as a new storm system moves in.

“We are still working to respond to a lot of those individuals who were impacted by the March 15th tornados,” said Annette Rowland with the Red Cross of Alabama.

Two weeks after more than a dozen tornados struck the state, the Red Cross has been speaking with survivors, some of whom they say were not prepared for the storms…
