MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WBRC) – Alabama Governor Kay Ivey’s office announced new funding on Tuesday, April 1 to help victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other kinds of abuse.
More than $160,000 will be going to different groups across the state of Alabama.
Governor Ivey’s office says the grant funds will be used to provide shelter and services for victims, while other funds will be used for training. This grant will assist victims in Blount, Chilton, Clay, Coosa, Jefferson, Shelby, St. Clair and Walker counties…
