HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — A National Weather Service survey across North Alabama confirmed that three EF-1 tornadoes touched town in Northwest Alabama. One nearly destroyed a mobile home park in Muscle Shoals, injuring 5.
The Tuscumbia Tornado
Preliminary survey results show the tornado rated at an EF-1 with estimated peak winds of 90mph. It lasted about 15 minutes, traveled 12.45 miles, and was 280 yards wide. Five injuries were reported at a mobile home park in Muscle Shoals.
