Montgomery, AL – A frost advisory is in effect for central Alabama, impacting 22 counties, including Montgomery, Tuscaloosa, and Auburn. The National Weather Service has issued the advisory, warning residents that temperatures could dip to as low as 33°F overnight, leading to the formation of frost.
The advisory will be in effect from 1 AM to 9 AM CDT on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. This cold snap is expected to potentially harm sensitive outdoor vegetation, such as flowers and plants, which could be killed if left uncovered.
