MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – A man has been sentenced for a 2021 shooting that killed a man in Pike Road, Montgomery District Attorney Azzie Oliver announced Thursday.
Patrick Wheeler was found guilty of murder after fatally shooting Ledell Flennory in July of 2021.
According to investigators, Wheeler hid behind a fence near Flennory’s home. When Wheeler saw Flennory on the driveway, he opened fire, fatally shooting Flennory in the head. Flennory’s son, who was less than 14 at the time, witnessed the whole ordeal…
