HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — The Alabama Department of Transportation is joining transportation agencies nationwide in promoting National Work Zone Awareness Week, April 21-25, urging drivers to slow down and stay alert in construction areas.
This year’s campaign theme, “Respect the zone so we all get home,” emphasizes the shared responsibility of keeping both workers and motorists safe.
