Commerce Secretary Ellen McNair today announced that Nelson Brothers LLC, a global provider of specialty chemical products and commercial explosives, has selected its home state for a major expansion project.
Nelson Brothers LLC is a joint venture between Nelson Brothers Inc. and Orica USA Inc. Its decision to grow in Walker County — over competing sites in large metropolitan areas in Texas and the Eastern United States — reflects Alabama’s strong business climate and commitment to supporting homegrown success stories, she said.
