Alabama man charged with drug trafficking in Mississippi

JONES COUNTY, Miss. ( WHLT ) – Laurel police arrested an Alabama man for alleged drug trafficking.

On May 3, police responded to the parking lot of Circle K on Chantilly Street after they received a call about a person who appeared to be intoxicated.

Officers said they located the suspect, Christian Spano, 31, in a U-Haul truck in the lot of the business and arrested him on misdemeanor charges. During his arrest, police said they found 9,000 dosage units of LSD and 101 grams of cocaine.

Spano was charged with two counts of trafficking a controlled substance. His bond was set at $200,000.
