The wet and stormy weather pattern of late continued Saturday across central and south Alabama. Soaking rain fell during the early morning. Some locations saw sunshine return during the afternoon. Elsewhere, showers and storms redeveloped. A band of rain with some thunder was ongoing across east Alabama Saturday evening. That may be the favored location for additional rain Saturday night. Otherwise, the sky remains mainly cloudy with lows in the low to mid 60s.
