First Alert: Tracking hit or miss showers for your Mother’s Day

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – The unsettled weather pattern continues now through early next week… each day will feature the chance for showers and thunderstorms, but it will not be a total wash out! With partly to mostly cloudy skies in between the rain chances, some days will be warmer than others based on how much sunshine any one given town can squeeze out.

Mother’s Day Sunday will consist of on and off showers throughout the day, and overnight into Monday. Your Sunday will not be a complete wash out, in fact there will be times where you are not seeing any rain. Keep in mind that if a storm does pop up in your area it has the right ingredients to be strong. Specifically for Central Alabama risks include heavy rain fall and strong wind gusts.
