City leaders discuss adding crosswalks to the Boulevard

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – While city leaders have made many improvements in terms of pedestrian infrastructure, some areas are severely lacking.

If you take a drive around Montgomery, you’ll notice that places like downtown or Old Cloverdale have plenty of sidewalks, crosswalks, and bike paths.

“Montgomery is a city that has a lot of wonderful neighborhoods, and one of the things that I think is really important for our city moving forward is to be connecting those neighborhoods to each other, not just with the roads that we already have, but with really high quality pedestrian infrastructure,” Montgomery District Seven Councilman Andrew Szymanski said…
