A free health clinic will roll into Montgomery this weekend to help address the capital city’s limited access to care.
Remote Area Medical, a non-profit, will set up a mobile clinic at the Cramton Bowl parking lot on Hall Street on Saturday and Sunday. It will offer free dental cleanings, dental fillings, dental extractions, dental X-rays, eye exams, eyeglass prescriptions, eyeglasses made on-site, and general medical exams.
“In many parts of the United States, for millions of Americans, access to basic healthcare is a challenge at best and an impossibility at worst. Due to geographic, economic, or cultural barriers, much of the U.S. population is uninsured or underinsured,” Remote Area Medical said in a press release…
