Alabama Secretary of State Wes Allen has signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Department of Homeland Security, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services to gain access to the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements program, a program that will be used to identify noncitizens registered to vote in the state.
“This agreement is an additional tool to combat noncitizen voting, and represents Secretary Allen’s commitment to ensuring Alabama elections are decided only by the votes of eligible United States citizens,” Allen’s release stated…
