Alabama faces another day with the potential for severe storms.
Rain and strong storms had already moved into north Alabama on Thursday morning, and the National Weather Service expects those to continue to drop southeastward:
[7 AM] A large area of rain/storms continues to spread southeastward this morning, with wind gusts up to 40 MPH possible with storms along the leading edge. Otherwise, lightning/heavy rain will be the main concerns. Precipitation will end from NW-to-SE later this morning. #HUNwxpic.twitter.com/pMuKH7OnxV
