BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Alabama Power is reporting thousands of customers are without power as rain continues to push east-to-west across the state.
As of 7:30 a.m. Thursday, 8,137 customers across Alabama Power’s service area are without power, including 1,377 in Walker County and 1,889 in Jefferson.
In other parts of the state, 971 customers in Tuscaloosa County and 858 in Sumter County are without power and crews work to restore service…
