ALEA executes search warrants, raids Alabama CBD stores

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WIAT) — The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said search warrants were executed at several specialty stores on Monday. They said it was a part of a year-long investigation.

“When your business is selling synthetic urine and drug screen masking agents, that means one thing to me. You’re up to no good,” said James Tarbox, District Attorney for Coffee and Pike counties.

ALEA said they seized large amounts of marijuana and cash from CBD stores in Troy, Enterprise, Clanton, Wetumpka and Montgomery. Tarbox said they discovered a memo from one store, who maintained a list of children that could buy marijuana without a parent…
