Montgomery man faces 20 years in prison for illegal glock switch possession

Following a hearing in the Middle District of Alabama U.S. District Court, a Montgomery county man is facing nearly two years for illegal possession of a glock switch.

Da’Quarious Lamarion Dudley, 21, was sentenced to 20 months in prison for possession of a glock switch. This comes after Dudley pleaded guilty to illegal possesion of a machinegun in March 2025.

Court documents show that on February 9, 2024, Montgomery Police officers responded to reports of a stolen Mercedes Benz, where they discovered Dudley, in possession of the vehicle. Dudley attempted to flee the scene, and while doing so, he threw his Glock 17 9mm pistol (AKA switch) that had been converted to a machine gun from his vehicle. The gun was retrieved by police…
