MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – A suspect is in custody after a chase ended with gunshots being exchanged with law enforcement, the Montgomery Police Department is confirming.
The incident started around 2:40 p.m. when MPD officers tried to make a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Country Church Road near N. Water Mill Road. That’s in the Carriage Hills neighborhood, just off the Eastern Boulevard.
